I absolutley love Proraso shaving cream. Unfortunately I get nasty reactions to camphor. Redness, razor burn/bumps, itchiness, etc.
It took me a while to narrow it down to the camphor. I should have know since everytime I used a lipbalm with camphor I got some major swelling and irritation. It's just been a long time since i made that mistake so I kind of filed it away. I recently tried an aftershavebalm that contained camphor and my cheeks became red instantly and it all fell into place (prior to that I had suspected the menthol might have been the issue).
Is there anything out there that smells like Proraso but is camphor free?
Please don't suggest the Sensitive Skin Proraso soap. It also contains camphor. There may be less but it's still in there. I've tried it and it's still irritating to me.
