Proraso Pre Shave Cream - Sensitive Formula vs Menthol Eucalyptus Formula

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried both the Proraso Pre Shave Sensitive Formula and the Menthol Eucalyptus Formula? I have used the Menthol Eucalyptus Formula as a pre shave and I like it a lot but I find it doesn't mix well with non Menthol shaving creams. Sometimes I just don't want that cooling sensation the Menthol gives. Do both products have the same effectiveness in terms of softening the beard?

I have not used both, but I have used the Senstive white version. It is still kind of menthol-y and eucalyptus-y. But I don't think it clashes too badly with my normal soaps or creams.

I have been using the M/E green pre-shave and the Proraso Sensitive Skin shaving soap. I have been rubbing the cream into my beard with my fingers before showering, then rinsing off in the shower before I shave. I lather up with the soap after that. May not be the way you're supposed to do it, but it seems to work for me.

The non sensitive version is more potent IMO.

I used the regular first, and got the sensitive on a BST for a good price so tried that.

I have both and use both, when I don't face lather. I prefer the white label vs. the green.

I've used both. I love both. They both do a great job.

I could not tell any difference in performance.

I prefer the menthol version though. I like the soothing burn (cooling effect) of it.
