Proraso in a can?

Hey guys! I noticed B&BW carries the Proraso in a can. Can any of you comment on the performance? I would imagine this is much better than the typical "can of goo" that you can buy for $3. Thanks everyone!

I've never tried it myself, but I recall others saying that it is much closer to a can of "goo" in performance than to the other excellent Proraso products. I use Proraso soap and cream several times each week, but I've never been tempted to try the can.

This is what I was afraid of. Well, not really. I have yet to try this. :001_smile

tienda.com has all the LaToja cremes and gels in a can, but nothing else....wish they had the tube or the stick. Have emailed that as a suggestion to them...

Nice! That would be a fantastic idea! I may go out and get a can of Proraso to try out. Heck, it may assist during those mornings that there isn't much time to make lather. The can is only $10, so it is no huge loss.

A good product. Not as good as the Proraso shaving cream or soap, but surely better than many canned foams on the market.

Fantastic! Now, I have to try this stuff. I'll head out tonight and report my findings in the next couple of days. It seems intriguing. Thank you for sharing!

Sounds like the can is to Poraso what the McRib is to McDonald's :thumbdown

A hint for a better shave: use Proraso pre/post cream as a pre-shave treatment.

Don't get your hopes too high! I tried the stuff a few months back. Once. Proraso cream is just superior by far, and it also lathers up so darn fast that i can't see why anyone would need the can.

I keep a can of Proraso foam around for lazy mornings. I'd say overall it's on a par with Barbasol, which is my gold standard for shaving foams and the only other foam I use. It does the job and I've never had any skin issues after using it. Just make sure your face is nice and wet before you start lathering.

Nice. Just got myself a can. I have a lot of lazy mornings! I will report my findings.

I also have bought a can of the Proraso (CO Bigelow) from B&BW. They told me if I wasn't 100% satisfied with it, I could return it. I'm going to try it and if I don't like it, I"m going to return it...

Also, I talked to them about my CO Bigelow large green tube of Proraso that I've been using. Since the tube is metal, it has cracked in half (wear and tear I guess), and I lost a lot of cream due to this. They told me without hesitation I could come in and exchange it for a brand new tube (great customer service and I love how they stand behind their products!)...

A funny side note, before I found this website, I would just apply about a quarter sized amount on my fingertips and rub it on my face, just covering my face (I wouldn't lather it, and didn't really know it lathered at all)... I still was in love with it after using it for the first time, but I found a video on here that was linked to youtube showing a guy making lather using an almond sized amount, I was shocked to find out how well it lathers!!! I can't WAIT to try it this way!!!

So thanks to people for posting videos like this, it is so very helpful for people like me! I think I'm going to stick with the Gillette Fusion and buy a shaving mug and use this cream with a badger brush!

I on occasion use the Proraso Red in a can. It's ok but not like there creams or tubs. It's pricey, and Barbasol in can is just as good if not better.
