Can someone tell me what is a good price to pay for the following 2 VINTAGE razors. Both razors are in very good to great shape.
1960 GILLETTE FATBOY
1964 GILLETTE SLIM
Thanks
It seems like a cop-out answer, but whatever they are worth to you. I've seen them as low as $5 a piece in antique stores up to several hundred dollars a piece on Ebay. If you want to purchase it online your best bet is to search completed auctions and then pick what you're willing to pay. If you're patient and watch for mislabeled auctions they can be had rather cheaply.
For decent shape ones, I usually see a general ballpark of around$40-55 for the Fatboys on the B/S/T forums here (frequently more for something comparable on Ebay, can be much more there) and around $20-30 for the Slims here and closer to $40-60 on Ebay.
I would say $50 for the pair unless they are in exceptional condition, have cases, or other extenuating circumstances. Regardless, if it was worth it and you scored, then enjoy. I love both my Slim and Fatboy, and would have gladly paid more than than the combined price I paid.
I normaly sell cased one here on BST for $45/by itself for $25/ that are in very good to excellent condition. Slims meh, somewhere in the same neighboorhood. $30 cased $20-28 for minty ones. But that's BST. Outside of B&B you pay more.

If you find either a fatboy or slim in excellent condition could you email at [email protected]
I would like to buy either one or both.It seems when you go toB/S/T the item that you are looking for is already sold.
Thanks again
