I haven't mailed a razor in about a year and a half due to Paypal demanding my SSN. But I did today, same way as I did before and postage was $4.80! Is this right? Has postage gone up that much in a year?

Yes. The flat rate boxes have gone up in price as well.

It is definitely a bummer. A little cheaper if you price and print your label through PayPal though.

Without doing any research i think 4.80 isnt a.bad price

If 15 ounces or less it can ship First Class which will run you $3.50-$5.50 depending on location. If 16 ounces or more it has to ship Priority which begins at $7.25 or so and goes on up to $10.00. Send it in a bubble envelope and that razor will be under 15 ounces so the quote you have is spot on.
