Post Traumatic Cella Syndrome -- need a replacement!

If you have seen this thread you know my Cella soap went bad. I would like to replace it with something else to maintain three soaps in my rotation. I currently have MWF and Tabac and a hole where the Cella used to be.

So, I am asking for suggestions, keeping in mind the following:

1. I already have MWF and Tabac
2. Of the soaps I like, tallow seems to be the common ingredient.
3. I want something that has a preservative so I don't repeat my rancid Cella experience.
4. I strongly DIS-like any form of mint or menthol.
5. Probably not interested in a stick. I think soap in a tub or bowl is more my style.
6. I want to pick just one so I don't end up with a cabinet full of soaps.

Maybe you should recommend something you would buy from me on BST (at a 20% discount, with shipping factored in) if I don't like it!

Any of the AOS soaps are great! I'm using the lavender right now and getting fantastic shaves.

I'd recommend Harris Marlborough, which is available in a bowl. I don't have the bowl, just the stick, but that stick is amazing. I like it more than MWF or Tabac personally. And it does contain tallow.

Valobra would be the same putty-like consistency and is also almond (tho a sweeter almond than cella).

Along those same things though, you could get some P.160, another one of those almond scented Italian soft soaps. Gary over at Shoebox Shave Shop sells it in approximately 3.5 oz 'sample' chunks.

I would guess so, altho I don't know. I've had mine for over a year and no problems, tho I do keep it in a screw top jar (reused mama bear's jar).

Maybe another saponi? I don't know if Valobra Crema di Sapone would be better than Cella as far as staying-power goes. I've never used it either. Like you, I am a fan of Cella but am worried about it now.
