possible Penhaligon's problem

I've got a little bit of a situation here. I think -- and I've done a bit of experimenting -- that the Pehnaligon's Blenheim Boquet soap is irritating my face a little. Has this happened to anyone else?

(No, you can't have it, at least not yet. :hand:)

Any product that is derived from organic compounds could cause a reaction.

It could be that you are just having an off day, a little sun/windburn or used a little pressure on your shave. Did you change anything else?

I would put it away for a week or so and revisit it with all known products.

That's kind of what I've been doing off and on, although I haven't stayed away for an entire week. I'll try that and if it's still a problem I guess we'll have a PIF.

good evening,

+1 on revisiting in a few days. I've had some unpleasant reactions a few times to products which normally are very mild on my skin, for example Taylor Rose cream. Sometimes, for some reason, my skin seems to 'decide' to go very sensitive, but this dissapears in a day or so. Can't really explain it...

Not a sale...but a PIF. Any ideas who you're PIF'n it to? *raises hand and points to self* haha:tongue_sm

But seriously, as to the OP, I can't say much that hasn't been said already. There is always a chance of irritation, and the only way to find out is to isolate the product. Hide it away for a week or give it to SWMBO to hide to avoid temptation and use products that are known to be kind to your face. Then use the B&B for a few days and see if the irritation comes back.

Sounds like a plan- If you decide its not for you, let me know and I will swap another great soap with you.
