"Portable Shaving Box"

Toothpick

Needs milk and a bidet!
i kind of like it! in its current condition i wound't pay that much for it. you could put a new mirror in it and new hinge maybe. sand it down, touch up the nicks, put a nice varnish and seal on it and i think it would look 10x better THEN could fetch that price.

i'd like to have it but dont see myself using it. it would just be coooool

Very nice, just not worth the price. Although it WOULD be something worthwhile if a talented hobbyist made something like that at a fraction of the price.

It looks similar to a dart case. All it needs is a small clip on mirror. The tubes could be trimmed to fit a stick of arko and alum and/or a brush. Razors would fit nicely in the slots for the darts.

OK, so I pulled out my dart case and stuffed it with shaving supplies. It works quite well. I have slots for plenty of blades, room for a full-sized brush, a stick of Arko, two razors, and a sample container of TSD aftershave. There's a pouch in back for a mirror (didn't have one to show off).

For those interested, it's called Casemaster Pro and can be had for around $35.

Sweet idea! I think I'll have to get one for myself! Looks like it would hold straights, too. That would be awesome for when I travel around for work. Throw a couple straights and a DE or two in there, along with a brush and some blades. Just doesn't have anywhere for a strop... hmm...

that is a nice old box, but not for that price.
the dart case is a good idea, never knew they had them.
I know a good carpenter who could make that box new.

Great looking piece, but it wouldn't take anything but the smallest amount of skill to make one out of wood, pretty cheaply over all as well.

Absolutely fabulous idea! Thanks for sharing it.

Much like a travelling writing desk I almost got years ago: elegant, makes me feel a bit more aristocratic, but, alas, highly impractical. The kind of thing one's man takes care of.

Indeed.

Where is mine?

thats an awesome idea! I'm thinking not only would that be great for the shaving kit but a seperate one would also be great for my pipes and other smoking accessories! I will have to look into them this weekend!
