Popped knot on my B&B Essential: Need Repair Advice

Good evening, folks. The knot on my trusty B&B Essential popped out of the handle this morning. Bit of a bummer, seeing as it's my only brush (heresy, I know), and I'm looking for any advice on putting it back together again. Looks to me to be a clean break. Knot is intact. Handle doesn't appear to be cracked. Looks like, maybe the epoxy let go after one too many "mashes" on the soap/bowl? I'm a heavy-handed gent with zero manual dexterity skills. All ideas and pointers are appreciated, as is hearty encouragement to go buy another brush!

Thanks,
Chris

Well if the knot is intact and the brush is not cracked, then a little waterproof 2 part epoxy should do the trick after a 24 hour cure.

So while you wait, order that H.I.S., F.S., R.V., V.L., Simpsons, Rooney, Kent, Semogue ...

Yep, basically as simple as that. Clean out any loose junk in the hole, maybe lightly sand the base of the knot to roughen it up a little, and mix up a little two-part epoxy. You won't need much...just enough to coat the bottom of the knot and a little up the sides. Too much glue is just as bad as too little, particularly if it starts oozing up into the hairs of the knot.
