Polsilver SI after Permasharp Super

I'm always raving about the Permasharp Super, how good it is comparing to just about any other blade...
But... today it so happened that I started a shave with Permasharp Super and ended it with Polsilver SI.
What a difference! Polsilver SI ate Permasharp Super raw. No match in smoothness, comfort and how close the shave is. Not that Permasharp Super was bad, but it's like driving a Lamborghini after driving a Volvo.
I guess SI is still the king of blades.

It just happens that I did this same experiment today, in reverse order. My experience was the same as yours, SIs a whole grade above permasharp in smoothness.

Polsilvers are great blades.

I typically get 3 to 4 more days use from that blade than any other

Right now I have one polsilver that is going to get shave #10 on it today....
