So, I just bought the last known finest Rooney 3/1 black in existence. It is beyond luxury, and wallet is now significantly lighter. I am not planning any new acquisitions in the near-future, except for the 2009 B&B LE, which is still a couple months off. A part of me will always, always wonder though: is there anything nicer? Can my current brush be beat? It's a monster with either soaps or creams and has lost a total of 2 hairs during the month or so I have been using it. Still, my current state of affairs begs the question: are there any nicer brushes out there? (Please say no...) For reference, I use primarily soap.

Out of all the brushes I've ever used, I have three clear favorites:

Rooney 3-1 in Finest
