Please recommend me stiffy British scent

What I generally likes : bitter, cold, dry, stiffy, Victorian/Edwardian British, sober, aloof, aristocratic vibe, weak silliage, good longevity scents

preferred notes : citrus/neroli/bitter orange, green, herbal, lavender, smoky, ash

What I generally dislikes : dirty, soapy, warm, sweet, cheery, powdery, modern department store-ish aquatic, expensive, discontinued scents

Blenheim Bouquet was not bad but I am not a fan of lemon pine scent I guess.
C&S Oxford & Cambridge was in my preference but expensive!
C&S No. 88 was too 'hedonistic' for my taste.
C&S Neroli could be on my shopping bag if the scent did not disappear in 2 hours.
Floris no. 89 was good(though too powdery) but I heard it is reformulated on 2009...

Would you recommend something here? And please give a British lavender scent recommendation. I'm confused.

Based on your requirements, Oxford & Cambridge was the first thing I thought of. Yeah, it's expensive. No argument there. I'm confused, tho ... you say above that C&S's Neroli "could be in my shopping bag if the scent did not disappear in 2 hours." Neroli is the same price as O&C. So if you'd theoretically buy the Neroli (if it lasted longer), why wouldn't you buy the O&C?

You might also want to check out Serge Lutens Gris Clair. It's French, not British, but it's a smoky, ashy lavender. Definitely not sweet, and definitely won't turn into grandma's potpourri. But again, might be more than you want to spend.

I don't have a profile of a scent with notes as specific as your request, but Hamman Bouquet hits some of those points. Sort of dirty rose and lavender.

It sort has the personality in a scent you're looking for, but it is an acquired taste. Sort of an odd one.

Guerlain Habit Rouge? Citrusy, but does go a bit vanilla in the dry down. Caron Pour le Homme? Lavenderish, but wears close and also goes vanilla in the dry down. Unfortunately both are French. What about Creed Scottish Lavender?

I felt that C&S Neroli has general tone of 'repulsion against mankind' or "I do not want to be liked at all" that I admire much. And O&C was very pleasant to smell for me, that everyone would happy with that dose of lavender. That's the difference I felt. Too much imagination, I believe.

Do you mean stuffy?
I tried to mean stiff/frigid and failed. I think I can't change the title at this moment.

Thanks for the recommendations. I would find the samples of the mentioned cologne.

I was going to recommend Blenheim....but here's another stuffy, powdery, overly-stern, stiff-as-a-board scent imo:
If those are the qualities you want to evoke, this is great:

L'Eau by Diptyque is an english inspiration.

"L'Eau was launched in 1968. The nose behind this fragrance is Desmond Knox-Leet. Top notes are cinnamon and rose; middle notes are and geranium; base notes are sandalwood and cloves."

Trumper Eucris! Like discovering and exploring the ruins of the Great Library of Alexandria; it reminds me of ancient, musty books in a room that no human has seen for centuries--I adore it

For Lavender...Try Trumper Wild Fern--to me, the top notes at least have a bit of a lavender vibe
