Please recommend a quality brush........

I am in the market for a new one. I currently have the AOS Pure Badger ($55). I don't want my brush rotation to get too big, so I don't want to buy more than 2.

I would like to buy one that can work well with anything. My current rotation is:

MWF
Trumper's cream
Speick cream
AOS lavender cream
DR Harris cream

My wife just bought me a simpsons duke 3 and i LOVE it.

I also have an AOS brush and there's no comparison between the 2.

I have a Rooney 3/1 Super Silvertip, and a Semogue 1305. I would recommend either one for you. You can get both of them for under $100.

Savile Row from Charles at QED. I have Select Pure and a 3124 silvertip (currently about $115). Both are great brushes but I would suggest a silvertip.

I have a Rooney 3/1 Super Silvertip, and a Semogue 1305. I would recommend either one for you. You can get both of them for under $100.

+1 on the 1305. Gotta try a quality boar brush!

i was considering going ahead and doing a custom shavemac. i am guessing this would be a good move. i am not far enough along to specify how high or low i want the hair though.

That's more of a religious question than anything else, I think. You could go by handle preference and get a fine brush, either way.
