What's new

Playing around writing, had a question

yes, I'm sure I could search for this answer (examples...but not many pix...I'm appalled at the lack of demos! maybe I just didn't look at the right links)

but I was writing along, and this came out of my pen. No fair answering without writing and demoing the answers...:001_tt2:

I don't have much for shaders right now. The Pelikan Turquoise does a nice job. BBB I remember shading decent but I didn't like the way it performed in my pens. If you look through some of the ink reviews in the wiki you may be able to see some you like. The Noodler's Blue has a little bit more shading if you use it in a drier writing pen or a broader pen. That particular pen can flex some more but I haven't used it in a long while and forgot how much you have to work it.

That is actually a terrible picture that shows nothing. I have no light today. It is overcast and dark as a cave in my room.

My best shaders are Lamy Turquoise, Diamine Meadow, and almost any Iroshizuku ink. My mind is drawing a blank now, but I'll think of others later.
