Pipe reamer suggestion

So, I've come to the point where I will need a reaming tool at some point in the possibly near future. I've seen the all metal T-bar handle style that seems to be the default standard everyone sells. So the question is, are there some makers of them that are better quality than others? Or are there better overall options out there for a good reamer? I may very well end up doing some restoring on estate pipes as well as maintenance on ones I've picked up unsmoked.

I'm one of those guys that thinks he doesn't need specialty tools to do some things. I have a bunch of old paddle bits of varying sizes that I rounded the ends of, paired with a handle for a tap and die set to ream my pipes. Your pipes won't need reaming as often as you'd think, unless you smoke one pipe all day every day. Estates are what I do most of my reaming on.

I plan on using it mostly on estate purchases for sure.

I can see not needing a specialty tool for it, but if you are starting with no tools of any kind that could fill in the blank, may as well buy the one designed for the job, since I'd be buying some kind of tool for it no matter what.

Absolutely, if you don't have other resources, then just get the Senior reamer as CommanderQuan suggested. They are adjustable to many bowl shapes and sizes, for $25 or so. Hey, just because I don't have one doesn't mean I haven't researched them and thought about buying one.

I'm just not one of those guys that has the usual collection of various tools and such around. lol Never been much of a DIY'er type, but I'm slowly working on changing that as I get older. Better late than never?
