Pins in Canada?

Where is a good place to pick up pins in Canada, or do I need to have them shipped in? I have not even started my first restoration, but I am excited and I want to know where to get things so I am ready.

While I have not been in to check them myself (I have been using micro fasteners), stop in to model/hobby shops. Sometimes they carry appropriate material for pins. I know there is a shop on 24th ave sw that would be a decent place to start, and there is an Italian market in the same strip mall :thumbup1: (I believe around 30th st or so)

You can get 1/16" brass rod at PM Hobbycraft. They do not have nickel-silver though, only stainless (too hard to pean) and aluminum (too soft). They also have #0 brass washers in a small (expensive) bag that will get you started. I got my brass rod from PM and ended up ordering some NickelSilver rod from the USA (with the help of another B&B member). I also ordered a load of brass and stainless #0 washers from Microfasteners.

That's similar to myself. 1/16" brass rods from a local hobby store and the rest from Microfasteners. I also got some 1/16" nickel silver rods from another B&B member. If you only plan to do a few restores I would suggest you post a WTB ad. If want send me a PM and I'll see what I can do to help you out.
