Pino Sylvestre..anyone know this?

Another childhood (for me that is) classic! i think it's an Italian product (but can be wrong)....i remember finding this one too...it smells like a pine tree actually and the bottle is cool..it's shaped like a pine cone! it's not for everyone but i really like it..

I have it. It is Italian. It is piney. Seems very pure to me. I like it a lot for what it is!

I'm a real sucker for pine scents and really love this one. It's a real steal for the measly price you pay for it. I've had numerous compliments on it, even.

yeah, I have the AS & the edt - very good stuff at a REALLY great price!

(reminiscent of the impossible-to-find-for-less-than-ONE BILLION DOLLARS and long-discontinued Halston 101)

a bargain.

Add me to the list. Never found the shaving cream, but I have everything else. Be aware that Pino Fifty and Pino Blue are discontinued, so stock up if you're into those. Also, keep an eye out for new Pino Silvestre products this year that hearken back to the original formulation of the 50s. :thumbup1:

If you like Pino, then you wouldn't be disappointed with Acqua di Selva (a classic from 1949) or Carlo Corinto Classic. Neither of those should break the bank, either.

Be seeing you.

You ain't wrong! I miss 101 greatly. If Quorum Silver was just a little more complex it would fill the role, but it just doesn't.

Be seeing you.

I like Pino... definitely old school Italian. I'd love to try the cream.

I really like Pino, and it's amazing how natural it smells. but I can't shake the feeling that it's really only appropriate for the holiday season. conjures too many holiday wreath/christmas tree imagery for random usage.

I have the AS and like it. Seems a lot like Blenhiem to me. I wish there was more pine in it. For those that have both, does the EDT have more of a pine note or is it just a more concentrated version of the AS?
