PINK/light brown color hone-help needed.

Hello all good people.
Another boring hone question. Got this stone in past but never had time to work on it. Finally when is done I could see that stone has dark brown color when is dry. Slurry has kind of pink color. Maybe light brown but I would say more into pink color. Smooth surface Any idea what stone is it? What grit?

Looks more like either slate or BBW.

It is a form of slate.

Hone a razor or two on it and try the shave. That will tell you what you want to now about it.

It looks like one of the Welsh slate hone but I really am not familiar with what you have.

Looks like my Bavarian slate, although I would call the slurry bluish-purple. If so, then it could be somewhere between a BBW and a coticule.

so looks like we are not sure what stone is this. Well I will have to test it
