Pinaud Lime Sec

Just got some Pinaud Lime Sec...man I love the scent and the way it makes my skin feel! This is great stuff especially for the price!

Regards,
Michael

Does it smell like actual lime, or like "green"? I got some Booster's Iced Lime and it smells like green popsicles. Feels nice, smells like a six year old.

Where can the Lime Pinaud be found? Our Walgreens stores stock just a few types of Pinaud.

On a side note, I've found that most Walgreen stores don't even stock their own Bay Rum, Superior brand I think its called. I checked their web site to see which stores have the bay rum. None in my area. it has to be ordered, then the shipping costs more than the product.

Holy christ you use this stuff as a splash? Tough guy!

Seriously though I think it's intended to be used as cologne as it's nothing much more than alcohol & fragrance. However the same applies to The Veg, and that is marketed as a splash.

P.S. - Lime Sec mixed with some Shave Den M-Bomb, which contains glycerin, lends it some protective qualities.

Lime Sec is in my rotation.. I enjoy it but would not wear it every day. I agree it does have a candy like scent that others here have noticed. Sometimes it almost strikes me as sickly sweet. I usually wear it as a follow up to shaving with a lime soap.

Superior 70? That's not a house brand, it's a name brand from Puerto Rico. It's easy to find in stores that cater to customers from that area, and is generally cheap as heck in those stores. Two bucks or so a bottle. Great scent, but it fades fast.

Seems like it's marketed as a rubefacient as much as an aftershave, sort of a better smelling spicy version of the green rubbing alcohol.

Thanks, I'll look for it

I take offense to that sir, I'm actually looking for a lime AS or SS that smells like lime popsicles. :mad1: :biggrin1:

PS; any chance you'd send that Booster's my way or sell it to me? LOL
