PIF: British Tech for the newcomer

Here is a very pedestrian and yet very effective vintage Gillette-made British ball-end handled Tech razor. No frills, no case, no drama -- but a very effective and attractive basic shaving tool. Offered to any member who has less than 200 postings and has yet to try a British Gillette razor. Post your interest and I will select someone by the end of the day on Tuesday, Febraury 26.

No question abut the company that manufactured this razor.

Basic 3-piece razor.

Not perfect but certainly a much better than user-grade razor. Post your interest and I'll select one of you.

Not in, as I have tried a british aristocrat, but great PIF! These ball end techs seem to be very popular, and if they shave anything like the handle tech, someone will be very pleased!

I'have been DE shaving for a month now .. and am willing and eager to try different razors .. shaving, that once was a chore for me, now is becoming fun and really enjoyable thing to do (I already even got my older brother hooked on DE shaving har har).

So yeah I would love to shave and try out this razor :thumbup1:

Since the moment I've been starting to lurk this forum, I began to wonder how these vintage Gillette Tech razors shave !
I own several modern razors (Merkur, EJ, Mühle), but no vintage three piece ones.
Great opportunity ! Thanks for the chance !

I am not in. I have this razor and it is my favorite. The recipient will be very happy with it I bet. Nice PIF.

Beautiful handle.
I want it, I crave it!

crave:
1. To have an intense desire for.
2. To need urgently; require.
3. To beg earnestly for; implore.

Great PIF!!
Thanks Jake!

Very nice PIF.

Please count me in.

I have never used a British razor. Nor a Gillette. In fact, I have only used two razors: a basic Merkur and a Muhle R41.

Very nice razor you are offering. I would love to try it.

Cheers.

That's a nice looking razor, I have some USA made Gillette razors and have been looking for a British or Canadian made razor at my local antique shops with no luck. It would be a prized member of my collection if you see fit to make it so, but congrats to whom ever you choose, nice looking razor!

Well I went over 200 posts so I guess I'm out.

The only razor I have is an Edwin Jagger and I am anxious to try older Gillette, but keep getting outbid when I think I find a bargain on Ebay!

I'm in. I have never tried a British Gillette either. Would like to compare this with my American Gillette which I like very much.
