Picky my next Mame Bear order

I think it's about that time that I order myself some Mama Bear's soap to find out for myself if it's all they're cracked up to be. I've narrowed my choices down to about 15 but I'll start off with ordering 5. Instead of me picking, I'll have you guys do it for me! To start things off, I'll tell you a little bit about the scents I like...

I gravitate towards the outdoorsy and earthy scents. I like the occassional citrus scents (I do have Penhaligon's BB shave soap and love it) but things like Speick, T&H Grafton, Patchouli, Cedar, Lavendar, and TOBS Eton College and St James are right up my ally. Hopefully that will help with your choices. I guess how this will work is to vote for your favorite one and I'll order the 5 more popular. I'm not sure if there's a way to have people pick their top 5 but I'll worry about that if need be. Don't be afraid to recommend something that's not on the list.

EDIT: I edited so you have the ability to choose multiple soaps.

This is fun and a nifty way to choose. My only experience is with Rosemary Mint. Trade Winds is not on the list and that is patchouli heavy.

Aged Spice is the Must Have, as is the Dublin Tweed & Dragon's Blood, IMHO, I just got Awakenings & Orange Orange for summer & they are nice as well. You know you can get small samples of any scent she carries for $1, right?

Ordered 4 soaps and plan to order more in the near future. ye Old Barbershoppe is my favorite, but spellbound woods and Autumn Afternoon give it a run.

I picked two of the three I have bought - Diogenes Club & Dragon's Blood, the third wasn't listed Coconut Lemongrass - . The other two I picked will be part of my next order, Awakening and Ye Old Barbershop.

Received my mama bears soaps yesterday. Shipping to Finland took 18 days, goods arrived straight to my mailbox and shipping costs were reasonable. Easy shopping for us foreigners.

I ordered:
Lime Ice Glycerin Shave Soap 100% Natural
Cocoa 100% Natural Shaving Soap
Bonsai Glycerin Shave Soap

Tried Cocoa today and seems like a fine product. Looks and smells almost editable, scent is strong, natural and reminds me about baking brownies. Lather was pretty good and performance is almost equal to Tabac. Nice shave with my Solingen Extra straight razor. No irritation or allergic reactions either. This must be the product to impress chocolate loving wifes

Got mine in today! It took only 3 days to go across the country by standard mail

Though I haven't lathered up yet, I voted on scent. Since you like outdoorsy-type scents I would also recommend Northwoods. It smells just like being out in a pine forest. I let my sister smell the sample and she didn't want to give it back...

So Aged Spice is very close to the original scent in Old Spice? If so, what exactly possessed them to change it? The current one smells really artificial to me, and it's nowhere near as nice. Aged Spice will most likely be my next order from Mama Bear.

Tried Lime Ice today and mayby thats a bit too much icy for me. Maybe I leave this for winter. Certainly wakes you up, but icy effect seems to last too long. Lathers same as Cocoa so nothing to complain there.

Bonsai tomorrow then.

I didn't expect much when I opened Bonsai container, but actually this seems a fine daily usage soap. Scent is mild and natural. If I remember right, there must be some cleaning product that smells almost same, but is artificial and irritating.

If you dont like excotic scents, this is a fine choice. All mama bears soaps I ordered, seem to lather well and are great performers.

The soaps I have tried so far have great scents and are great performers. My favorite so far is Orange Orange.

While you're ordering some soaps, I'd suggest considering some Summer Ice Milk aftershave as well. I have the Mandarin Ice and the Lime Ice varieties (I'm a big citrus fan) and I love them both. Great scents, soothing, moisturizing, and very cooling, perfect for the Summer months.

There are also Lime Ice and Mandarin Ice versions of the soaps. I haven't tried these yet but they just arrived in my mailbox this morning along with some Awakenings. I'm looking forward to this weekend!

Thanks for the suggestions. Can anybody comment on Dublin Tweed? While I do like the scent of Irish Spring, I don't think I like the scent enough to want to shave with it. Are the two scents pretty similar or should my expectations be higher for DT?
