Photography Help

I was wondering if I might be able to get some photography advice from some of you experts? My wife is trying to do woman's jewelry and I like to do some better photographs than what she already has (images can be seen here:http://www.beadnyx.com/index.php?p=1_2&a=Jewlery).
Equipment we have:

• Coolpix L1
• Tripod
• Light box with two small lights

Any advice would be helpful.

They are pretty good but a little more experience, a better seamless backdrop and some post cropping and exposure adjustments will help.

Pretty good work, especially without the benefit of a DSLR camera.

Here are some photo's of jewelry my wife made. I had a Canon DSLR at the time which really did most of the work. I mostly used a black background vs white.
