Personna Platinum - anyone else's go to?

After a few months of tinkering, I think I may have found my blade in the Personna Platinums.
I've had great shaves with other blades... Astras, Derbys, Feathers, Wilkinsons.... but these have been the most consistent as far as getting a very good/great shave out of them no matter the growth or razor I'm using with them. It's always comfortable and I don't end up with nicks or too much burn.

So who else likes them?

Not I! Tried 'em numerous times. Just plain uncomfortable, harsh, regardless of razor. That said, I enjoy all the other Personna blades, domestic or imported, pretty much without reservations.

When the time comes to buy or trade blades, I'd be happy with any of the Personnas. My experience with all of them have been positive.

It's so crazy to me that some of us love a particular blade and others can't even stand the same ones. Its the wacky world of wet shaving!

This one became my second favorite after Personna Labs (or maybe 3rd if you put personna meds there as well)

I used one this morning, after having worked through some stray Astras I had laying around. Astras are nice blades, but for me, nothing is as smooth and forgiving as a Personna. I get very similar results with Labs and Reds. Love these blades.

I have not tried these. I love Personna Blues and Crystals. I just got a sample of the Personna Meds. I guess I should give them a try. Right now the Blues are my number two and the Crystals my number 4. Seems no matter where in the world they are made, Personna makes a pretty good blade.

Chadao, is the Personna Blue blade you reference the Personna Lab blade made in the US or the blue wrapper Personna blade from Israel? If the latter, I thought they were the same blade as the Crystal. Other than the Personna Med which you also reference, I'm not aware of another Personna Blue and would be interested to learn if there is another Personna Blue other the the Personna Meds, Labs, and the made in Israel Blues, aka Crystal blades.

Oh yea. I have several hundred. They are always enjoyable to use (for me anyway)
