just picked up 100 of the lab blues off the bay to try out. i wanted to stick to feathers but the price difference was a factor as well as made in the good ol usa. hopefully they work out if not ill give them out to my brothers and inlaws as i converted all them into de shaving....cheers

A very fine blade. Just about as sharp as Feathers (IMO), better longevity and less than 1/2 the price.
I find them to be more forgiving than Feathers but produce similar results.
I also echo what folks are saying here - the Personna Blues are great - very little difference in sharpness in them from the Feathers and you save quite a bit of $$..Feathers tended to irritate my face because of their non-forgiveness, and the longevity of the blades were not that great....I always felt like they dropped off a cliff in sharpness after 2-3 shaves, whereas the PBlues gave me at least a week's worth of shaves which I didn't feel like I needed to push to the limit of the blade's life because they were pretty inexpensive! Just my 2+2+2 cents!

I can use them in my Adjustable Gillettes (Slim, Fatboy and Super Adjustable) and crank them to 9 and get smooth, comfortable, close shaves, with no irritation and rarely a weeper or nick.
And, they are available for <$15/100 on the bay. Tough to beat, minimal packaging (making storage easier) and made here in the USA, not that that has to matter, but working in manufacturing myself, I prefer USA made goods, WHEN they are of equal/better quality. And, especially when they are less expensive!

I didn't even know there was some really good blades made here in the U.S.A. I have plenty of blades but I may have to pick some of these up.

I'm glad you brought this subject up and the fact that they are made in the U.S.A. Since most of our manufacturing has been sent over seas in the last 25 years. I try to buy American when I can. (If the product is good.)
They are an excellent blade and at $12 on Amazon an incredible deal.
I just got some in yesterday. I can't wait to try them today. I bought a 100 pk of them so I better like them.
I just got done shaving with the Personna Blues. I know others have said this but these are every bit as good and as sharp as Feathers.
I haven't been this impressed since the first time I used a Feather blade. These are every bit as good. This is all I will be buying from now on. I have to try these in my R41. Maybe I can get a smooth shave out of the R41 with these.
