I just ordered this razor. Its a Parker open comb and to my knowledge the only one they make. Its 3 piece so I am thinking "aggressive"

I have my doubts with the early Parker razors but they seem to be putting a lot of energy on improving them lately.

Being open comb, I think it's probably brand new. I've never seen open comb parkers before.

I bought it from the Shave Shack (UK) and can't be sure if its a new model. What attracted me to it was its OC & according to Shave Shack chromed.
Unfortunately I won't be trying it out until next month as I am travelling

Parker makes some nice-looking razors, and this is no exception. I hope it shaves as good as (or better than) it looks.

The handle styling looks similiar to their 22R. The teeth look similiar to an old style Muehle R89. From that empty notch in the middle, it looks like it is the Gillette New style where there is a slot for the blades opposed to the three posts.

Does that have ridges across the face of the razor? Looks like it on top, but the downside looks smooth...

Parker's version of the New. Looks nice.

I won't be home to get it as I will be out of town. So it will have to wait until next month. In the mean while I will have to suffer with my 11C on "the fly"

Hahah, I tried this razor, but only once. It gave me a really nasty bite - got a one inch scar where the edge of the blade jabbed into my skin. I've only ever had that happen once before, and that was with the Parker razor that says 'GOOD MORNING' on the top.

It's either through my clumsiness, or bad head geometry. But I really think I'd have difficulty cutting myself that way with a true safety razor.

How long ago did you buy it? Depending on when that was, we might be able to tell if it is an old model or a new one.

Bought it last week but it has not arrived yet. I have never seen this model before. I didn't think Parker made an open comb. I have check the internet and it appears nobody else is selling it. Maybe its a prototype
