Parker Premium Silvertip Badger Brush

What do you guys think of this brush? Currently I have a Escali brush and would like something that 'sheds' a little less.

For 60 dollars, there are better choices I think.
Like a fifties series from Simpsons or a SOC.

It's quite large and very soft. It feels very nice, but it's a bit of a lather hog.

The cheapest I could find the Simpson was $80 which is a little out of my price range. I'm looking to spend around $50, maybe $60 at the max. Any other recommendations?

The best value in Silvertip (IMHO) is Whipped Dog. You could get their largest (30mm) brush delivered under your budget.

I have a Parker and I love it! I also use a Semogue 830 Boar which is also good. I use the Parker for creams and shave sticks and it is pillowy soft. The weight of the Chrome handle is fantastic. When I need to, I can get a great lather from Mystic Waters and the Fat with it. If you are a Creams or croaps guy, then you will thank me.

If you are more of a soap guy, I would recommend a Boar or two from Semogue!
