Parafernalia Woodstock FP - replacement parts?

Hello, friends.

Apologies in advance for my unfamiliarity with fountain pen lingo.

For many years, my favorite pen has been a Parafernalia Woodstock Briarwood pen:

As you can see from the picture above, the pen is threaded at both ends, and the cap can screw onto the nib when not in use or onto the other end of the pen when in use.

Unfortunately, the threads on the nib assembly (not sure if that's the right term -- the part that holds the nib and screws into the shaft (?) of the pen, pictured below) have worn down, and the cap no longer screws onto the nib. The threaded piece that screws into the shaft also is wearing down, and actually crumbling:

Anyway, I can't afford to buy a new one so my question is -- does anyone know where I might be able to get a replacement of just this piece?

Thanks in advance,

Michael

That's a pretty unique nib section, its a cool looking pen though, but finding a replacement I would think to be tough

It may be repairable with a tap set to fix the threads

Maybr someone here has seen something like that before though

Kind of looks like the pen kits they sell to wood turners. You might want to check with some of the woodworking sites and see if you can find something suitable.

You could try the number on parafernalia.com. They are in Italy so I don't know the calling rates. You could find a retailer in the states and ask them if they can get the part, or if they can get a hold of the company.

The nib unit looks just like what TWSBI uses - or used to use. Except for the threads on the front end. You said part of it was crumbling - which part exactly? The piece IN the barrel? (female threads?)

The non-nib end of the black piece in the second pic is crumbling. That's where the threads are that screw into the threads inside the barrel. The piece still screws in well enough, but won't for long if it keeps degrading. The threads just above the nib, where the cap screws over the nib, are stripped.
