Paintball

I guess I may as well post up a few pictures.

I shot these with my D300 and 50mm f1.8 lens. I use a Kata Rainbag to protect the camera.

Sorry about the watermarks, I sell these locally, and the guys around here are thieves. :mad3:

B&B is the last place I ever expected to run into another baller!

Here's me playing in Phoenix in '08-

Great shots, by the way!

You'd be amazed, we're kinda everywhere. ;)

I don't play much anymore, but I think I can find one of me from the summer.

Yeah I sat this season out too, with the exception of Phoenix. Where are you located, or where is that field at? The lighting looks a lot better than my old home indoor (AAPP in PA).

That's Paintball Action Games in Edmonton. It's the home field of Edmonton Impact. I actually work there, it's an incredible field. We've also got a regulation xball field in the back, we host CXBL events over the summer.

A prostock with a CCM deluxe kit? CCM makes the best pumps you can get IMO. I have an S6 and a T2, they both rock. I just recently got rid of my PPS Pug, which was an amazing gun, too. For semis, I have had a little of everything. I built an electropneumag, I had a Viking, a Geo, an SL74, an Ego9, and currently a luxe. I had a bunch of guns before those, too, but I can't remember them offhand.

Paintball marker acquisition disorder? I can relate. I have:

Tippmann 98, old thread style
Phantom
CCM SS25 Pump
Carter Buzzard
Carter Comp
Micromag 2000 X-valve
Palmer Blazer, rare camo model
Micromag 2009 on order

I hardly ever use them anymore. I think I'm getting too old to run around in the woods. Good photos, by the way. Cameras are tough; I took a paintball right on my Canon F-1 prism and it didn't faze it at all.

Black Adder, you don't happen to browse MCB, do you?

That's a very good marker collection. I've had 30ish, I have an Excel spreadsheet somewhere with all my old guns and their serial numbers. That's my T2 in the picture in post 4, it so happens to be an as of yet one of a kind prototype.

I lurk there on occasion. I like the older markers, and I enjoy playing pump in stock class. All of my pumps are set up for stock. Going up against a paint slinger is often a losing proposition, but I try.

I'm thinking of picking up another CCM pump; having a cup seal problem with the SS25 now, but it has been a good gun.

The Carters have been a bit of a letdown:001_rolle. The Micromag is fantastic, but a gas hog.

You guys are really making me miss my warp-left Y-gripped X-valved mag. That baby was a blast you use.

The Y-frame has never made sense to me. I love the I frame, and the pneu'd Z-frame I tried was incredible, but the y seems to have the trigger at the worng angle.

It actually worked really well with teh warp as it brought it all right into place and balanced out. But maybe that was just me
