Paint for Gillette Blue Tip

I know we have a couple of threads about the repainting of Red Tips and folks have said that the Krylon paint works very well and has a matching color to a red tip.

The consensus at the time was there was no matching color for the Blue Tip. Has this changed? Does anyone have suggestions?

Find a paint store that specializes in auto paint.

You can bring the blue tip in and look through their color catalogs. When you find the match have them mix you up a bottle or spray can.

I've found stores like this in a few medium sized towns.

I brought my blue truck in to a paint store that specializes in auto paint. They mixed me up a couple of cans of paint - didn't match worth a darn.

It would be helpful to know if anybody has experience matching up the blue tips successfully.

The hardest part about doing any matching is simply that the paint has faded after all these years. It would really require someone with a cased NOS to do any sort of paint research and matching.
