I used to wear Woodhue way back when (I’m 78 now) and thinking about trying Black Shroud edt. - but I’d like to hear if anyone has an opinion before I make a blind buy.
PAA Black Shroud EDT has anyone tried this fragrance?

I have never heard of it, which seems unusual for me. Black Shroud!? Who are they marketing to exactly?

It’s marketed as a homage to Faberge Woodhue. Strange name though.
I like Black Shroud very much. I actually have never tried Woodhue but I heard it was popular a while back. PAA makes Black Shroud, you can get a sample from them first. That's what I did. I'm sure you know that. Good luck
It’s been almost 60 years since I last used Woodhue. I thought it was great in my teens. Black Shroud reminds me of Woodhue. I don’t think it is quite the same. For me, use it with a lighter touch and I get what I recall as it dries down
Tried the sample. It was pleasant but didn’t buy. Their aftershave/colognes are pretty strong. I bought two EDPs and they both had poor performance compared to the colognes
