Our First Baby!

My wife gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl (our first baby). We named her Hadley Elizabeth and she was 6 pounds 6.4 oz born 12/22/2012 (two days after due date of 12/20). Mom and baby both did great! Certainly a change to our lives, but we couldn't be happier!

Can barely tell we haven't slept in a week, eh?

A beautiful child ! And almost a Christmas baby, too. Make no mistake,this child will be your biggest responsibility in life. Just wait until she is old enough to date, to drive,,,,lotsa gray hairs will be coming your way my friend. I remember when my daughter was 15 and her mother talked me out of making her wait till she was 21 to date. The little boy was barely old enough to drive that took her to a dinner and movie. My daughter begged me not to embarrass her when he came to ask me if he could take her out.
I simply told him that it was my understanding that a meal, a movie and home was all that I expected for her first date. Furthermore, I told the boy with a stern look that if he had a lot of hugging and kissing on his mind that I was not afraid of going back to prison one little bit...My daughter didn't speak to me for about a week but the boy never came back for a second date...imagine that ? Dad's are funny about such things, I suppose ?
