Oscars Tipple?

I have been trying to decide on an appropriate tipple to go along with the Oscars tonight.

On the one hand, this is a celebration of American film makng, so perhaps I should drink American spirits.

On the other hand, martinis are commonly thought of as a class drink, so maybe one of these. Or, I could opt for a good single malt.

Decisions. Decisions..........

Any suggestions? What will you be drinking?

I'm in on this late but I was drinking Old Pultany 12. First time I tried it and I must say, it's an extremely nice scotch.
