One piece (TTO) open comb razor info

I'm a fan of these razors so looking to learn more about them. Here's what I know about the one piece (TTO) open comb (OC) razors:

1. Vintage is the only option. Currently, no TTO OC razors are being made.

2. Gillette was the only manufacturer to make a TTO OC razor in North America (N.A.).

2. Gillette (N.A.) only produced TTO OC razors from 1934 to the early 40's.

3. In N.A. the only TTO OC razors made were:
1934-40 Aristocrat (gold)
1937 - ? Senator (nickel)
1938 - ? Sheraton (gold)
1939 - ? Regent Tech (gold)

4. AFAIK the Senator and Sheraton were exactly the same razor except for plating. Also, the Sheraton is the same razor as the Regent Tech except for packaging. So, really only 2 models of TTO OC razors were made: Aristocrat and Senator/Sheraton/Regent Tech.

I'd appreciate any other info (or corrections to my info) that other members can provide.

For the N.A. Gillettes I don't know what the last year of production was for each model. Also, as I've only covered N.A,. production any info on British and European TTO OC razors would be great. I know Gillette made TTO OC razors in England in the 30's and 40's as well. Did any other manufacturer ever make a TTO OC razor?

While it might have been implied, it looks as if you're only addressing DE razors.

If you look at all safety razors, Gem made the Micromatic for over a decade for single edge blades.

The Cooper MonoBilt was one ...

The Sheaffer by Segal was another, but used Segal proprietary blades ...

And there was the Segal One-Piece, itself ...

And the Segal Uni-Matic ...

And the Segal Unitary ...

I guess you could call this Prima from France a TTO as you have to twist the bottom knob to open the top ...

And, of course, there is the Micromatic ...

Thanks for pointing that out. You are correct; I was restricting my research to DE razors.

Looking at mr razor's site seems like, as in N.A., in England Gillette made only 2 models of TTO OC DE razors, the Popular and Aristocrat, and only from the early 1930's to the early 1940's.

Questions:

1. What is the difference between the Popular and Aristocrat? There don't appear to be any obvious differences between the razors.

2. Can someone explain the numbering of the British Gillette TTO OC DE razors? Best I can make out is that they seem to vary due to the production date, plating and packaging of the razors.
