Anyone ever attempts making a one-piece scale from wood? The only difficult thing is to make the scale "spread" - I can't really do this with a table saw, unless with a thin shim. Then there's the problem with the circular blade pattern when you cut. I have a nice piece of wood (Macassar Ebony) that would like it to be all "matching". Yes, I know you can book match it, but only wood tool precision cut I have is a table saw.....and the kerf (blade thickness) would cut this piece enough for only one scale.
