What's new

One half inch away from BBS

Been working at going slow and steady with my shaves, adding a pass here, a different angle there. And last night I popped a new Shark SC in my Merkur 23c, and nearly nailed a BBS.

The lone trouble spot was a square half inch right underneath my chin. When I conquer this, I will know I have arrived.

Congrats on the success. The chin is a kind of tough spot for many, so just keep going at it slow and easy. All at once it'll come around.

My chin has a designated natural area aka goatee, and during Movember noticed that the chin is a tricky area to shave! Good luck!

Under the chin has always been a difficult spot for me. 90% of my touchups is in that area.

Damn near had a bbs shave today myself. The only reason I won't classify it as one was the fact that I lost focus for one ATG swipe under my chin and ended up with a few weepers. It was the best shave I've had in the six weeks since starting DE up until that moment.
The Clubman AS reminded me that I can't get lazy and buy into my false confidence just yet. Lol!
I've gone slow and steady, like yourself, and keep getting better shaves. I'm actually starting to get to the point that if I'm not even getting DFS's, I'm very disappointed in myself and start to question my manhood. Lol!
I just started true ATG for third passes, every day, five days ago. What I've learned is to keep my movements deliberate. Not using pressure to get closer or experimenting with angle or etc... just a confident movement to glide the razor over my face.
Good luck and great shaves!
