Omega Boars - Difference in Bristles?

Guys:

Is there a difference is in the backbone, break-in and splaying characteristics between the plain bristles and the badger-looking bristles on the Omega boars? I'm tying to decide between the two.

I find the "banded" ones softer at the tips. But the "blond" (for similar knot/loft specs) have a tad stronger backbone.
My fav "banded": 80266 and 10275
My fav "blond":10066 (I find this to be the best balance of soft tips and backbone, for omega)

+1 on the 10066. I also have the 49 and a 10275. The knot of the 10275 after the first lathering began to take on a triangular shape, weird.
