What's new

Omega #11047 aka The Mighty Midget: a positive suprise! PICS!

Today i got my Omega Mighty Midget, and so far all i can say is WOW! It behaves like a brush twice it´s size! Almost no badger/boar funk (since it has both hair types) Pretty nice backbone, but opens up the breach pretty fast, so soft creams should be a pleasure!! Here are some latherpics with Proraso cream. :001_tt1:

Enjoy!

I love my wee scot, but I find the handle a little too small, I am also curious how they compare, but will exercise restraint.

This was my first brush. I didn't like it then, but having used other mix brushes I really enjoy it now. It makes an outstanding travel brush! This is one brush that really hits WAY above its weight class!

I used the Omega brush for almost 6 months and then got hold of Vulfix mixed badger/boar a couple of month ago. I like both brushes a lot. But Vulfix is more comfortable to hold and feels a little softer. Otherwise, both brushes are great for face lathering. And I'm glad I have both.

Iv'e seen people here on B&B that stopped using WS when they got their hands on the Omega.. very curios about the WS myseelf :)

my guess is because those folks like the larger knot in the Omega as it's a 20/43mm vs 14/36mm for the WS.
I need to try the WS myself as I prefer tiny brushes and my fav two are 16/35mm and 16/42mm.

Good guess, how much is the WS? Maybee i should try one ;) The MM shedded some hairs during the four latherings i have done with it so far, but thats nothing wrong when the brusgh is new. I once had a Simpson Commodore X2 that shedded a lot of hairs..

Nice! Which model name on the Vulfix mixed? Can't find it on their website.

Vulfix 404 Grosvenor Mixed Badger/Boar Shaving Brush - Ivory

For some reason, none of the boar brushes are mentioned on Vulfix website. But you can find it at your favorite online sellers such as Italian Barber, WCS, Bullgoose, etc..

Cool, you got the older version that has Tasso & Setola stamped. The newer ones just say Setola but are still mixed.
