Smiles all around last night.


Got this 170 year old Wostenholm ( not George, the OTHER one LOL) honed up and running. It's now firmly ranked as amongst my top 4 razors to shave with.

Got the old W&B "Chinese" razor done this weekend too. Not quite happy with the edge yet. It's got a lot of hone wear and against my better judgement, I honed it without any tape. It's shaving OK, but just not quite like I hoped it would.

I'd wish they were tortoise, but when I look at through a loupe I see striations that say horn. Whoever dyed that horn back in the day was a real artist.
