Oil Control?

I have ridiculously oily hair and skin. By the end of the day I look as if I haven't washed my hair in a week. Bleh! Any suggestions for products or techniques to control the oil?

Look up African Black soap!! I promis you'll thank me!

I looked this one up and saw a number of positive reviews from people with oily skin. I found some at a local health food store, so I'll try this one first.

Nippon Kodo Pelican Deitanseki soap. Works a treat.

I see this one gets a lot of love too, so if the African Black soap doesn't work out, I'll try this one next.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys!

I read a post by Craig the Barber that suggested if you have oily skin on your face you should use a moisturizer everyday.

where can I buy African Black soap in store?

I found it at Whole Earth co-op in a local college town. I'm sure there are a number of similar places in Seattle. Try googling "health food stores Seattle" (or Olympia, or Bainbridge Island, or whatever is actually closest to you.) From the reviews on Amazon, Nubian Heratige and Dudu Osun seem to be well thought of. I understand, however, that the Madina brand carried by Whole Foods is not actual African Black Soap.

Hold on, I just stumbled upon a listing for african black soap at Walgreens, too.
