Yep. If you used paypal, file a claim of significantly not as described.
When sending it back, make sure to use some sort of online viewable delivery confirmation - that is important for winning your claim.

Shall I bust out the torches and pitchforks?

Maybe not a public lynching, but maybe a note about it in feedback.
I have had two eBay razors arrive with cracked cases because the sellers failed to use the tiniest bit of common sense while packing. I am tired of it.

Same here; I've had my fill of stuff being delivered in bad shape.

I had heard somewhere that there's a company making spares and repair parts... (strop and hone...) Not that it fixes the bent case, of course.

A perfect example of why it's so important to package items properly. Sorry for the loss of an antique. Bummer, Jim.

That does suck, I don't know why these folks cheap out on packaging like that.

I bought a Super Speed with an Old Spice mug (my first). When the package arrived, I didn't know what it was, because of a clunking sound and the sound of some powder like substance shifting around.

On opening, I found (what was left of) the mug, which had been wrapped in newsprint, and placed in a Priority Mail envelope! It was in 4 large pieces and a million small ones (managed to stab my finger on one).

Contacting the eBay Seller, he was very good about it. Apologized for his error, said he'd refund my full purchase price (which he did a few days later, including shipping). He also asked that I keep the razor gratis for my inconvenience. I of course left him positive feedback!

Hope you have a good outcome with this, I do understand about the loss to history, but at least there seem to be enough of the Rolls' to satisfy the current demand for them (I have one on the way too).

Update.... the seller has returned my payment and told me to keep the item.
Also a brother B&B'r has a replacement stone for me.
Thanks B&B!

Well someone beat me to it. I was going to say there will be one available for pickup on Saturday.

I'm glad to hear it worked out.
