Oh my, that is gorgeous...:w00t:

You can find it here!

It's a Kent BLK12

Cheers!

Love the brush but $247.50 US to much for me.

I get $150.86 using google to convert from the £99 to USD. Are they charging $250 for USD consumers and £99 for GBP customers? You could save about one hundred bucks by just purchasing it in GBP and letting your CC/Bank charge you a few bucks for the currency conversion.

If that handle wasn't a bit awkward for me I'd still have that wonderful brush... I'll have to take solace and comfort in my B&B LE 09 when I get it I guess. :thumbup1:

I got mine here. The shipping was reasonable and it shipped quickly. It came out to a little less than $145 shipped.

I love the handle, it makes building lather very easy in my DB 1.5.

Still can't believe the price difference between GBP and USD, that must be a mistake.

Has to be. 99 GBP = $160 ± 10 depending on the market. Looks like they've applied the FX rate twice. (99 * 1.6 * 1.6 = ~ 250)

May be worth a call if your interested?

(Though, 'tis a thing of beauty to be sure...)

You can get them here, too. Good service, they knock off the VAT for shipping to the states.

I've got the bk4, 8, and 12. The big brushes really hold heat in the core of the loft. Very nice, pleasurable brush to use. Recommended.

Are there problems with Kent knots, Paul?

I like the look of the handle, but I have somewhat longish fingers and I expect I'd feel like I was writing with one of those kindergarten oversized pencils if you know what I mean. It just looks a little too fat at the bulge to be comfortable for me. And if I were using it, that's almost certainly where I'd grip it.

I know you didn't ask me Slice, but I thought I'd try answering your question anyhow. I thought that it was a bit too big for me as well, but the girth of the brush was actually fine for me. The thing that got me was the annoying narrow part at the end of the base. If you've seen the B&B LE 09 pics that Joel did holding the brush, I had to do use the boss grip really and that was just too uncomfortable. I think I would have been fine if it was in the middle and had the girth throughout the rest. My opinion on the brush at least from my one use. Take it for what it is. :thumbup1:
