Odd Request...I would like to try a pair of suspenders/braces

This is a long shot, but would someone be willing to part with a pair of their suspenders for a week or so?

I just want to try them, and I promise I will take care of them. I am looking for a higher end pair (like Albert Thurston) with tabs for buttons, not clips.

I went to braces several years ago, and they are great!!! I have a bit of a tummy and a non-existent butt. Keeping my jeans and trousers up with a belt has been a constant fight, and resulted in red marks over my hips from belt irritation. With braces, one can wear a larger waist-size trouser for a more relaxed feel and without the fear of them dropping down. Very comfortable! Thurstons are the Rolls Royce of braces; I have two pair, one bespoke in sizing. Trafalgar braces are very nice - not the limited edition ones which are gaudy IMHO and expensive. My everyday set are from JABanks. The buttons I get to use with my jeans are from Hanks Clothing; they are Carhart "hammer-on" buttons. And, just having gone to my closet to check, I have a pair a Trafalgar's I would be willing to part with. PM me if interested.

You may want to try renting a pair if no one is close enough to meet-up with. You can go to Mens Wearhouse and rent black ones from the tux department, they are buttoned. Just remember NEVER WEAR BRACES AND A BELT TOGETHER!
