Observations on NOS English Wilkinson

Came across these a pack of these at a local antiquary last week and have been using them while waiting for my Feathers to arrive. They're nice blades, sharp and smooth, really nice. It's a shame nice blades go out of production... English Wilkinson, Personna 74, Swedes, etc. When my Feathers arrive I will transfer the remaining English Wilkinson blades to my travel kit, but as a promotion, not a dismissal. :wink2:

Post up a pic if you can, I'd be interested to see which blade you have. I really like the NOS Wilks; there were many varieties, many of which were outstanding.

I now have 38 of these puppies that I've managed to scrounge on eBay. The black insert card/labels on the container come in three different styles, but the printing on the blades is the same: "Super Sword Edge" on both sides, and "Made in England" on one.

They're at least as good as any other blade I've tried, including Super Iridiums, and IMHO better.

Haven't tried "Swedes," but that's a whole 'nother world...

I've a few of these. Sadly they'll run out eventually.
Have you tried the Indian Wilkinsons?
They're not bad (and infinitely better than the German ones)
