NOS Ever-Ready 150!

Ya know, they say that even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in awhile! I'm usually not very fortunate when it comes to in the wild finds and especially scores on the bay. I stumbled across this new in box Ever-Ready 150 brush and won it cheap. (not sure if we are supposed to say the price). Shipping will cost me 2-3X what I paid for it. The box shows the original price as 60 cents!

So, do I use it or just display it? Any thoughts from anyone who has experience with these brushes? When were they produced and marketed?

In addition to my first ER 150 purchased in 1971, I have several other Ever Readys and one Fuller - some NOS, some hardly ever used. All vintage and all great brushes. I use them all regularly!

Break it in gently and use it lovingly. Mine still works and feels incredibly soft. I bought it new about 40 years ago. It's got a bald spot right in the middle; but then so do I. Neither of us seem particularly impaired in anything other than appearance by the hair loss.

Thanks! I'm older than the brush and +1 on that bald spot thing and hair loss impairment thing!

Are there any Ever-Ready Experts out there that know when the 150 first was produced?
