Well they look nice... what kind of converter is inside the hero... if it's one of those slide style ones get rid of it before it does to your pen what it did to mine... but then I had a cheap hero... and yet it still fell short of expectations but my cat did have a blue Mohawk for a while Dave's still upset I wasn't able to get a picture

Lol deal, Dave.

Dreaded that wasnt the kind i had trouble with, i did end up getting ink into the upper twsit part when flushing but it wasnt a big issue and didnt seem to come back down,... but if you really like those pens you may want to think about buying a quality converter for the twist piston style one, i dont think they cost much i forget which ones were mentioned to me when i had my problem but there are many here can give a few reccomendations on that

Nice looking pens there.

I was a bit confused by the post title though, as "Nads" is a slang term for testicles here in Britain! Short for gonads...

Two countries separated by a common language!

"nads" would pretty much mean the same here, but I had "nabs" in the title. close enough

so far I'm pretty hapy with these
seems as though I have to put down a tad bit of presure to start the Kaigelu though. is this normal??

Could be the ink in the pen or a combo of both... I know the monteverdes have a rep for taking a bit of time to get going you could give the converter a wee twist down to put little bit of pressure on the feed to get ink going but when I have done that my ink saturated to much and a lot of the colour was way to dark
