Has anyone tried this stuff?

With shipping (d'bay) it's less than 2.00 a puck.

Looks to me like Van Der Hagen Deluxe. If so it is a good soap IMO and a regular in my rotation. Think it is 1.75 at my wal-mart.

Cool - I believe you hit the nail on the head.
I think the local Walgreen's sells the single green box of it. I"ll have to check it out. Thanks!

Bought mine at Walgreen's, but if I recall correctly, I paid north of 3 bucks. Might be cheaper elsewhere as suggested above. I don't remember being impressed with Walgreen prices on shave stuff.

Regards.

Walmart carries it for like $1.60 or $1.70 a puck in the nice green boxes, so you probably aren't saving much. For the DE guys, they also carry Wilkinson Sword blade 10 packs for like $1.80, and I don't know much about DE blades, but I know that they are WAY better than the $8 /10 pack I bought at CVS/Walgreens a year or so ago.

It's a good soap. Great for the availability and price. Probably the fastest disappearing soap I've seen (The ONLY soap I've ever finished off just through shaving that wasn't a sample), which helps explain the performance... it loads VERY easily (I suspect it's whipped and then the whipped product is relatively gently compressed into a puck) and by far most people who have problems lathering are just not loading enough product.
