No Gillette D3 Blue Tips Made?

For over half a decade I’ve been looking for a Gillette D3 Blue Tip and never came across a single one!
I’m thinking maybe no Blue Tips were actually made in the 3rd qtr of ‘58, possibly due to the new TV Special and Executives needed for the year-end holidays. I’ve seen plenty of D3 Techs, Flare Tips, and Red Tips as well as a number of D2, D4, or E1 Blue Tips, but never a D3. ?????

No, D3 Blue Tips should be out there somewhere.

They were made from 1955-60 and if anything it's the 1960 F examples that seem rare as both Blue and Red Tip, but again, they were made!

No, D3 Blue Tips should be out there somewhere.

I had/have the same issue with a Z2 Diplomat. Found a Z2 President and a birth year Diplomat, never a Z2 Diplo... I gave up!

The Gillette tech seems to be the same way. I’ve seen plenty of techs from the other 3 quarters but I haven’t been able to find many of the Z2s. I also have a tech from each of the other quarters for that year and have been looking for a Z2 just to have one from each quarter of that year
