No Floid Blue in Italy?

...or so I have been told.
I know a while back that the Floid blue was listed as discontinued, and later relaunched on the market.
My wife had a work colleague recently go on a 1 month tour in Italy, and returned home on Thursday. She searched high and low for Floid blue. Most of the small barber shops and retail shops said to her that they have not seen Floid Blue for a very long time, and that most places are not likely to carry it. (She even had a picture of the bottle.)

Some did have the original Floid in some of the shops, but this was not what I was looking for. So in the end, I received nothing from my wife's colleagues' excursion to Italia.

I am obviously disappointed, but at least my 1 year old received a nice little t-shirt.

Guess I'll have to stick to paying online.

Regards,

Brad

Marco has mentioned here that some Italian products he cannot find while on his excursions. He has had to order them in through the interweb. I am still working up the stones to plunk down the 50 clams to order some in myself.

My 82 year old Italian barber, who apprenticed as a barber in Italy, emigrated to the US the 1950's, and still owns a home north of Rome where he spends 4-6 months every year, has never even heard of Proraso before.

I'm heading to Rome next week and trying to find some Floid Blue is on my list. I'll report back if I have any luck.
