Nivea Shave Gel

First off, I know it's not really a cream (so mods, feel free to move.), but this is really pretty close to one.

Quickly makes a damned good lather. Seems as moist as many other creams... . Am I missing something, or is this pretty good drug store stuff?

I'm no connoisseur, but I have a fair number of creams and soaps. When I use my colognes, I prefer no scent from my shave cream and just tried this for the first time.

BTW: It's the 'sensitive' formula.

It works well. I picked up a sample pack of their shaving stuff awhile ago, and I'll keep it for travel. I'll keep using the good stuff at home!

I must be in the minority on this one. I have been having some issues with making my own lather, so a few days ago I used some Barbasol, and got probably my best shave since starting DE a month and a half ago. Today I used the Nivea gel, and I didnt care for it. I preferred the Barbasol.

I used to use Nivea Gel when I used a Fusion and before I discovered a bowl and a brush. Looking back and having since tried Barbasol, I would choose Barbasol. Felt like it provided more cushion than the Nivea.
