Yeah. I have my fill of gold new deluxes. Almost though, almost bid on it. What I'm really after now is the chromium new deluxe big fellow... err, make that big boy.

I understand that it's my razor so bottom line I can do what I choose. Now here's the question....... Would it be a terrible thing to have it replated in Rhodium?

No it would look great in Rhodium. If you can bear the wait....

It looked to me that it had some varnish still on it. Oven cleaner will even out the finish, but gold wears away quickly.

That's the pinnacle of Gillette's open comb design there IMHO..

Wow, I missed that . . . I still don't have a NEW Deluxe in my rotation . . .

That was a great value . . . besides the NEW Deluxe, the Old Type looks solid . . . and you can't beat a Durham handle on either an Old-Type or Tech head!
